[VOD] Stuttering (both video and audio) in VHO8

I'm curious as to whether or not anyone else is experiencing stuttering with VOD content in VHO8?

I have two Cisco (335HDC) boxes, and on both I'm seeing video and audio stuttering. The issue occurs randomly throughout playback of any VOD title, be it a movie, tv show or even just a short clip.

When I say "stuttering" I mean that video distorts and tends to macroblock, and with audio I get chirping/stops/starts.

My install was done in September of last year, with fresh runs of coax to both STBs. My router is an Actiontec Rev F bridged with and sitting behind a Linksys WRT320N. (My ONT is using Ethernet as opposed to Coax.)

Typically, I've only seen such stuttering if I'm using a majority of my internet bandwidth (35/35 plan) for torrenting, and that's understandable. However, for the past several months, the issue is present regardless of bandwidth consumption.

Any ideas as to what's causing this issue?

I'm in VHO5 and I've been seeing this over the past few weeks when viewing regular HD content with my 7232...especially ESPN HD and FOX HD...video/audio freezes for a quick second or 2 and pixelates...sometimes it happens frequently on certain programming...this only started happening after 1.9

I am in VHO8 and been having that exact issue for a while now, no matter what I use On Demand for. And I don't see it tying in with my Internet usage as everyone in the house has been sick and the computers have been off. Nothin can be watched without a glitch.

I get the same thing on all channels, but especially ESPN and Fox, it really ruins our weekly shows. This has been happening since we upgraded to the 7232 box from our 7216. Do you think it's a problem with the box?

Edit: I'm in VHO11 in Pittsburgh

I have also had this VOD stuttering glitch problem in VHO3 on my 7232 DVR. Its happened for over 2 weeks now and getting very annoying. Haven't tried it on my 7100 yet. Anybody else had this issue on other dvr models?

I'm in VHO3 too with a 7232 -- no issues at all with VOD.

I'm in VH05 and I have stuttering, skipping, freezing and some VOD HD movies look like compressed SD. All last week, I've been having DNS internet issues, STB's freezing up, rebooting and IMG corruption. It's been a wicked week.

We watched an HD VOD movie yesterday afternoon "50/50" here in VHO8 - looked great. Actually no hiccups at all through the entire length.

Access the Actiontec GUI and take a look at the MoCA data rates. The rates should be above 180.

I am in VH03 and have had that freezing problem for a while. Two techs have come out and checked everything including signal, jacks etc. They replaced ONT, splitters etc. They even check stuff on the pole. Still cannot find the problem.

Did they replace the box? Do you have more than one box and do they exhibit the same problem?

well... i went to do this and then i realized i can't remember the username and password to my actiontec. ugh! i do have remote administration enabled since it's sitting behind another router, and i'm wondering if there's any way to reset the username and pass without having to perform a hard reset on the router itself?

I'm having a similar issue in VH09 (stutters on HD VOD content, fine on SD VOD's), all of my rates are right around 230 Mbps right now but it's still skipping.
