| Well, a family member has the cheapest Cogeco plan and hasn't had an issue watching plenty of TV shows and a few movies through Netflix; but I can't tell you how that compares to whatever you'd view through ATV2.
My advice is to get the cheapest plan if you want to save a few bucks and see how much data you consumed the day after, and adjust your habits or your Cogeco plan accordingly. |

| reply to JerryBatz84 I think you should be okay with the Express 8 package, the 2nd one up.
I'm getting really good speeds, about 8.3 Mbps.
The cap is 40GB a month. I find myself coming close to it every month, keeping in mind I'm watching about 2hrs video a day (stream) and music + applications that are in the gigs every once in a while, along with updates and stuff...
I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but you might be better off with Bell, as much as it kills me to say it. They have "usage insurance plans" with 40GB extra usage a month for only 5 bucks. Its unfortunate the Cogeco doesn't offer such a package, if they did I'm certain a lot more money could be made by them.
Best of luck |
