I never understood why Netflix took a beating over a modest price hike. Even $16 a month for both services that is a steal compared to even the cheapest cable TV or satellite offering. Even better the CEO even took some of the blame for the fallout and took corrective action to try and fix it.
Contrast this to other service providers which continually raise prices, even far more than what NetFlix did, and laugh off any customer revolt.
