1 edit | Zyxel USG 300 and multiple public ip addresses Hi!
I'm wondering if I can do a setup, and if I can how to do it.
I have a range of public ip addresses, for the moment I only use one. I have configured a couple of NAT and firewall rules to allow users to reach smtp, http and https. I want to use the SSL VPN but dont understand how to do it. If a user surfs to the USG300 WAN ip the user will reach my webserver through the NAT and virtual server. My question is, Can I assign port 3 (WAN2) another public IP address, and then publish the SSL VPN on that port/ip.
Best Regards Lasse |

Right now you have a single WANIP and thus are using port forwarding rules and firewall rules to allow users to access what??
NOt sure what you mean by smtp http and https. Do you mean your running servers for people to access?? Mail server and web server???
I would have thought if you have multiple IPs for your account youuo would use one IP for the wan of the router and then do one to one mapping for the rest of your IPs (public to private). In this case you would not need any port forwarding (virtual rules) and simply make firewall rules. The only time you would need Virtual server rules would be for servers running behind the WANIP and not the mapped one to one IPs. -- Ain't nuthin but the blues! "Albert Collins". | Sorry about beeing vauge.
The NAT is to access two server one the LAN one that has a webserver and one that has the Exchange server. Users and mailservers will access the services from the internet.
I have just bought the firewall and the previous configuration was: smtp.mycompany.com is directed to my WAN-ip address, so is www.mycompany.com.
What I want to do is, create a new webaddress sslvpn.mycompany.com and point it to another public ip, but I dont know how configure a new public ip in the USG 300. |
