Re: Rogers Tampering Calls Duration?

said by jibby:

never heard of an MCD code, sounds like you got an MSD code to me. Even googling shows pretty much no results for Rogers MCD codes but lots for MSD.

LOL...someone has a sense of humour here. MSD...I never heard of it, obviously my vision failed for a second with regard to my MCD code...

my "code" expire in 2014 or so. And it's true, reps seems to be unaware of it.

MSD codes are company codes.

I have no idea what you're referring to when you say MCD. Especially when referring to an actual feature you'd get.

guys they charge sent to end billing that means when u press the send button. your phone devicel only starts the timer when the other person answers, it does not start when u press send thus the difference, its perfectly fine.

Or more eloquently, you are charged:

-- From Send, to End --

which is to say you are charged from the time you press the send key (for outbound calls, obviously) until you press the end key (or the line drops).

From Send To End.

Someone should make that into a rap song or something.

Maybe they charge from the moment the other party's phone starts ringing when you call someone, or when your phone rings before you pick it up, and your phone only records the call from when you're fully connected to the other person.

I would agree here. I know for a fact that Rogers starts charging as soon as the phone number your dialing starts ringing on a Pay As You Go phone contract. That is as soon as you finish entering the phone number they start charging. Can't say the same for calls that come in..I just don't know would have to check.
