simba1994 join:2002-02-10 Largo, FL	[TV] What happened to The Weather Channel HD? BHN sent lineup changes to CableCARDs on 1/24 to prepare for the rolllout of the new HD channels; including The Weather Channel HD on 1225. On 1/25 all the new channels went live except 1225. Well, they pulled it from the CableCARD lineup today. Any idea what happened? Problems setting up the "Local on 8s" equipment?

HDOrlando join:2011-11-30	reply to simba1994 Try punching in 1225. Some boxes in Orlando can now access it by punching in 1225. I was not able to do it this morning like others but now can do it probably because it is slowing uploading to boxes. However, it is still not in the guide. BTW: It came through just as Gary promised.

However, the image is NOT HD. Perhaps they activated the channel but the feed is definitely not in HD (like a SD feed ported over to an HD channel). I assume that they will be taking care of this ===UPDATE=== Although it still doesn't appear in the channel list, 1225 is now in HD

I don't watch it that much either, but it probably is the last of the channels I watch that I have to wander into the old analog numbers for. I didn't care with an SD TV, but since HDTV, the channel just looks bad in SD -- even with the Brighthouse digital simulcast.
