Deus Ex GOTY Steam or GOG?

Both $9.95, buy from whom and why?

I have an account for each, and have had positive experiences with both...

Your thoughts?

Steam always gets my vote unless it is something that I can only get from somewhere else. I have nothing but good things to say about GOG too.

Steam gets my vote.

Steam -- all things being equal, you keep all your games in one spot.

Throwing my lot in with Steam, as well, all things being equal.

Steam, you get a better package overall (comunity, chat service etc.)

That's a pretty strong endorsement of Steam so far, I'm leaning in that direction as well... I added all my Humble Bundle games to Steam as well, so I'm pretty much sold on the "all in one place" feature.

That too... especially seeing as it's unlikely this game will ever require updates...

GOG is better than Steam when it comes to the topic of DRM but unless you're for some reason some where without internet it shouldn't be an issue.

That's what I meant, it's the same price on both, and I've never played it so I'm looking forward to getting it, just wanted to get everyone one else's take on which platform

I'm watching District 9 again, and I've come to realize something: Wikus's got it all wrong. If I were morphing into a 9 foot tall hyper-dextrous alien that can shoot lightning bolts and get high off cat food why would I ever want to become human again?

I've worked with Steam's offline mode with no problems, you just need to go offline while you have internet.

Actually you just made me remember anothing thing I'm going to be playing it on WINE a lot on my Ubuntu partition... and the non-Steam version has better results on WINE than the Steam version so I'm pretty sure GOG wins this time.
