I have an account for each, and have had positive experiences with both...

| reply to El Quintron Steam always gets my vote unless it is something that I can only get from somewhere else. I have nothing but good things to say about GOG too.

I added all my Humble Bundle games to Steam as well, so I'm pretty much sold on the "all in one place" feature. |

| GOG is better than Steam when it comes to the topic of DRM but unless you're for some reason some where without internet it shouldn't be an issue. -- Lore Nerd. Role Player. Raid Leader. Healing Priest. Slightly Annoying. Also Likes Kittens. |

| reply to Dread said by Dread:9.99 not bad That's what I meant, it's the same price on both, and I've never played it so I'm looking forward to getting it, just wanted to get everyone one else's take on which platform -- I'm watching District 9 again, and I've come to realize something: Wikus's got it all wrong. If I were morphing into a 9 foot tall hyper-dextrous alien that can shoot lightning bolts and get high off cat food why would I ever want to become human again? |

| said by Goodmongo:GOG for older games as its no DRM wins over steam. Actually you just made me remember anothing thing I'm going to be playing it on WINE a lot on my Ubuntu partition... and the non-Steam version has better results on WINE than the Steam version so I'm pretty sure GOG wins this time. -- I'm watching District 9 again, and I've come to realize something: Wikus's got it all wrong.
