Re: IPv6 beta

I noticed even slow poke ASUS have 2 routers with v6 support now. I'm sure the lower end brands like Belkin / Asante / TP-Link / TRENDnet, etc will fall into line soon.

I am going to start testing IPv6 on my home network. I have a D-Link DIR-825 for my router and roughly 10-12 devices that need to be connected. I guess my main question is, since all of these devices will have an IPv6 address, does that mean they'll all be connectable globally? Does this mean I need to run a local firewall on every device on the network? Just trying to get away from an IPv4 mindset and wrap my head around IPv6. Any advice would be appreciated.
