Re: Strange Issue Thanks for the link. None really sound like my issue. I also looked into the 'sleep' mode on my TV. It has one. I'm wondering if that's what happened too. Also my wife just asked 'what does it mean if the DVR has all 8's across the front and the little light starts blinking?' I said 'that means the DVR just rebooted'. I wonder if it was a signal issue we had yesterday, and that the reboot was tied to it in some way. |

Verizon often does remote resets of the boxes in the "early morning" hours. I have had many recordings split in 2 because of this (obviously with a minute or so missing while the box was rebooting). -- REMEMBER: Stupidity should be painful !! |

Any chance it's brown-outs? My TV seems to more sensitive to them than some of my other equipment. |
