[LA] Docsis3 service... in Marrero, LA

I have Cox ultimate service, i am only getting 30mb out of the 55 im supposed to get.....the lights are all on on my modem, but the link light is yellow and blinking....is that normal?

sounds like a 6120. if you don't have a gigabit router it will be yellow. If yo do it will be blue.

No thats a 10/100 port router, its not a gigabyte router. Have you tried direct connecting to modem, and run some speedtest? Would like to know if the router is cause of the slow speed or not.

I actually fixed the issue, this stupid thing had SafeSurfing on....LOL it halved my connection....now im getting around 60mb...:-D

I went into the Cisco Connect software and disabled it.
