anal0g join:2012-01-26 Calgary, AB | Telus Actiontec V1000H .55 Problems I'm currently setting up a small office network with active directory and I need the client computers to use my domain server for DNS. I'd like to avoid double NAT routing and since telus has the DHCP server locked on, I need to use the V1000H as my router/DHCP server. This would be fine however the crippled telus firmware wont allow me to change the DHCP settings. I understand the device is fully capable of changing these settings but Telus has locked us out of changing them for some stupid reason.
If anyone can please pm the new root password for the .55 firmware, I will be able to get my domain working properly and I will be very grateful.
If you can think of any other solutions please share them with me.
Thanks! |

But hey, at least you'll be able to use a proper bridge DSL modem (SpeedTouch 516 for example).
Sorry, I can't think of anything else.
I don't know why Telus wants to lock everyone out of the Actiontecs so badly. It's bullshit. |
