Just read a story about a guy who went missing when he went to meet a friend. He never showed up in his Jeep to meet the friend. The cops told his family that they couldn't file a missing person report until the 31 year old man was missing for 2 days. The guy's father went to an area he thought his son might have been and saw tire tracks into the river. Still, the cops did nothing. The father went into a local business near the river and asked to see surveillance video and he saw his son's Jeep go into the river. Still, the cops did nothing. A day later the cops brought his Jeep to the surface but wouldn't search the water for the driver. They told the father they will have to wait until he surfaces.
The story ends when the family contacted a rescue diver in Idaho who brought them the help to find their son. Just a very sad story.
