Waterfox 9.0.1 has also been released, but at the moment is only available through the internal updating program available in Waterfox 9.0. This is to try and iron out any issues for the release of Waterfox.Next.
so it seems that waterfox is now officially a mozilla project |

 Where is Waterfox? |
I wonder if Mozilla has not updated their page yet, as I don't see it listed.
Even if I click on "Our Projects", its not listed yet there either.

ExidorPremium join:2001-05-04 Brampton, ON | reply to DarkLogix It appears to me that the Waterfox developer may be getting ahead of himself a bit.
Waterfox is apparently "Powered by Mozilla" but I don't see where/how it is an official Mozilla project.
The Powered by Mozilla logo is being made available for individuals and organizations that use parts of the Mozilla code-base in their application or product.
The Mozilla community creates world-class open source software that is freely available for other people and organizations to use in their own products. The Powered by Mozilla logo is being made available to demonstrate how broadly Mozilla's technologies are being adopted because we feel strongly that helping to distribute our source code is central to our mission of promoting openness, innovation, and opportunity on the Internet.

| From the waterfox site.
Issues have been run into with the new Waterfox build and it has been delayed. At the moment the Intel compiler has made an unstable build and is the source of the problem. The issue will be sorted before the end of the week. Sorry for the delay.

|
 | Should be fine. I have Waterfox 9 running with Firefox 8 and have no problems.
They do share the same profile so be careful if you uninstall one of them. |

capdjqButt outPremium join:2000-11-01 WetCoaster | Thanks. I just installed Waterfox 9.0 alongside my FF 10.0. Working gr8. All my numerous add ons work. Appears snappier but may be my imagination. Will try the videos etc. |

imtim83Premium join:2001-06-03 Kenner, LA | Waterfox 10 is faster because of the:
Implementation of SSE3 for all base processors.
Implementation of SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX and AVX2 for processor that support it. |
