kudos:5 | She will need one if the local market encrypts channels. They do here. Even with a digital tuner you will just get a black screen.

| The HD feeds are encrypted in almost every market. Even Cedar Rapids, where overbuild carrier ImOn offers HD in Clear QAM. IowaMan what market are you in with ClearQAM HD? |

| Ha I had a brain freeze and missed the title, HD, not SD (As I was thinking) Mediacom MAY/WILL go clear QAM HD once ALL areas are digital.
