Rogers email

I am about to cancel my rogers internet. Is there a way to save all the stuff from my @rogers email address?

1. Use a local email client and download them to your PC.
2. Set up a 3rd party email and forward the messages there.

Exactly. And stick to a 3rd party service so that if you change ISPs again, you won't have to go through this and won't have to let everyone know what your new address is, change information on web sites where you're registered, etc.

Actually, I don't think there is any need to forward once you've download them into local email client folders. They will simply remain with your old email address.

As for 3rd party, I'd highly recommend eHosting.ca in Vancouver. Plans start at $1.95/month. See »www.ehosting.ca/plans.php. Not sure if you need your own domain like I do also managed by eHosting.ca.
