I had similar problem. Since I read this complaint, it's hard to believe that technician actually came to my place, and enabled the cable. Acanac told me that they will send bell technician to check the line, but I had to pay $100, if the problem is on my end. However I had internet with Primus, and it was working fine. So I decided to cancel the activation.

Refund!!!!

Acanac told me they will they will refund the money right away. However they delayed 4 times! Now I have to wait another 10 days to get refund.

They refused to deal with the problem over the phone. It can only done by via email. Obviously it will take much longer. I've sent two email on Jan 24, and Jan 25. I haven't received any replies regarding to my message.

Stay away from this company.

ps. if you have any tech problem, and don't want to wait for an hour to get thru, just talk to sales, they work as tech as well.
