Re: [Rant] Wireless phone service I've used LittleSnitch on my desktop for a few years, every time I go to a Goggle news page for instance the browser will try to connect to a data collection site 1 to 3 times, all in the background. You would never see it except for the below application (link) which puts up a window to allow you to accept or refuse the callout. The choices are to allow forever of deny forever to that specific URL. Also you can let it call out to a URL one time.
I heard they are working on an iPhone app for the browser in the Smart Phone.
