1 edit | Quick Little Survey Just a quick survey, please don't elaborate for the sake of this topic, start a new one with specific issues, but the point of this topic is to get feedback to WOW about the arris Docsis 3.0 modem/router combo devices. .
Just put
"I am happy with it"
or
"I wish I could just get a plain modem"
I suspect many people don't care for the arris, and maybe seeing enough people post "I wish I could just get a plain modem" will convince WOW! to act in favor of customer service and offer one. |

Well, I just have the plain modem and have never had a problem, except for a signal issue caused by a splitter, and they replaced the modem as a result of the same problem, and that was a long time ago. It's been working great since (uptime of 100 days and it's been a few years since we had it replaced). However, it is just DOCSIS 2.0

| It's pretty hard to find one of these for purchase. So unless WOW (as has been suggested) starts offering a "plain" DOCSIS 3.0 modem (doubtful IMO), someone who doesn't want the Arris modem/router will have to go with the SB6120/1 and there has been problems reported with those. |
