 BlueC join:2009-11-26 Minneapolis, MN | Same here. PTP backhaul is still very beneficial in dense areas. Especially when there's little competition on traditional L2 connectivity. |

 | reply to Internet123 PTP backhaul is more important than ever as mobile phone carriers are upgrading to LTE / LTE Advanced. They really do want and need 300 Mbps full duplex connections (licenced 256QAM backhauls using Ligowave, NEC, Aviat, etc) to each tower.
In dense metro areas, for shorter distance links, most of the time we can get away with using 1' and 2' size dishes. |
