I am starting to have issues with Netflix and their missing DVD's (Hellsing Ultimate 1 is an example) and am thinking of joining an anime rental place to get my fix. Anyone have some recommendations? Good or bad?
Does anyone know of _ANY_ anime rental places? Can't say I've ever heard of one... Back in the late 90's I used to hit up Blockbuster, but they never really had that big of a selection and I don't think they really exist any more...
RentAnime, and AnimeLane are the 2 I have found on other forums, but I am not sure as to the quality of them. RentAnime is in FL, you have to wait 2 weeks before you can file for a lost shipment, and AnimeLane in CA, you have to wait 10 business days before you can file for a lost shipment

reply to huntermcdole I've used both that were mentioned. Out of the two I'd personally go back to rentanime. I was living in the midwest at the time and it did take about 4 to 5 days to get the DVDs. My pros are the following
1. The ability to ask for your next set of DVDs after getting your current sent (this is a trust thing, abuse it, it gets taken away)
2. HUGE Libarary of both anime and hentai
3. The ability to get pre-release dvds. When they come in to rentanime.com they are available for rent and they will get to sent to you regardless of street date it seems.
Back when I had it I had the 10 out of a time and ran though so much it was great. If i had more time to watch anime I'd go with rent anime.
Anime Lane is just a spin off Animenation.com and I didn't care for them it was fine for what it was the only positive I can see is you can buy your disc but you could probably get it cheaper on Rightstuf.com.
