Re: Informing customers of upgrades and temporary outages

"I represent a mobile broadband MVNO in my area. Millenicom.com. I am NOT a official of Millenicom in any way,"

And my statement is proven and confirmed.

Personally, I think if you don't want to contribute to Jim_in_VA's questions or posts on here, you'd be better of simply not replying to them. Regardless of his position, the questions CAN start useful dialog between the rest of the people on the forum.

On the other hand, I also think that Jim_in_VA's WISP owner should really join and participate on this forum himself. He really shouldn't be relying on his customers to be feeding him info like this when he can just login and see it himself so easily.

Either way, I think those who want to participate in the conversation should participate. Those who don't should just move on to the next topic.

I believe when any customer of a WISP comes here and under false pretenses attempts to solicit information from us to use against their WISP they should be called out for it.

Wirelessdog on the other hand takes it as an opportunity to attack my question , his comments are not relevant to the topic and I feel his comments are a personal attack.

I'd have to agree with this.

If I recollect correctly, this is a Wireless Internet Service Providers forum, not the "I uses teh 802.11 magic" forum.

I find Jim_in_VA See Profile's questions to be well within the scope of the forum, regardless of the method of wireless delivery.
