| I called them and the recording said Tysons Corner people were currently affected. I just mentioned DHCP because of the modem logs, seemed DHCP was having a problem. This was the longest outage in months, and it had spurts until about 3am. |

Well seeing from your post it looks like from 2-3am this problem occured. Just want to mention between 12-6am is the period in which cox has the right to do maintenance. So its very likely the problem you had was the result of cox making adjustments to there network. I will however say if this starts to happen repeatly then there might be an issue to be looked into. |
