I have att opteman that is being delivered in singlemode fiber..my infrastructure is multimode fiber..
Does anyone know of a good media converter and the brand please.
This is for gig speed the singlemode is 1310nm and my multimode is 850nm.

| We use Allied Telesis media converters at our plant, and they have worked great for us over the years. It doesn't look like they make a Gb mm to sm converter though. I would suggest maybe buying your preferred brand of switch with at least two SFP ports, and tossing sfp's in to suit your needs. |

Probably way overkill, but would work... They sell both SM and MM SFP's for it (uses proprietary modules, though...)
How's AT&T handing you the Gig-E anyways? As SM fibre, or as a 1000baseT? If it's 1000BaseT, BlackBox provides a ton of Copper to MM adapters... |
