| Cogeco Prez calls it's poor customers "Neglected". An Interesting quote came out of the mouth of Cogeco owner, Louis Audet.
When asked if they are going to compete with others like Videotron, he stated:
"Absolutely not," he said. Rather, he specified, "we're here to serve a clientele that is generally neglected by the big companies"
Hm. Poor Cogeco users are "neglected by big companies"? Maybe he meant to say; We are quite happy raping our customers for all they are worth where there is no competition. Why compete and lower prices? If we did that people wouldn't get $2,500 B/W bills".

The only one neglecting us is Cogeco themselves. This is why they're too chicken to have other companies compete.

20% increase in profits for the quarter, including a 13% increase in revenues, which means the other 7% came from cost-cutting.
That's hilarious. Real companies operating in the real world of true competition see profits ranging from flat to "bloodbath". So much for "service enhancements" eh?

In other words, we're not going to upgrade our network to compete with the big players, and we're going to charge twice as much.
I love the Quebec-centric attitude too - as if Hamilton, Oakville, Burlington, Windsor and Niagara Falls are small little neglected backwater communities.
