| No but I routinely make up names of people and give contact information for them at the FBI and FTC when filling out web forms. For credit card and bank account numbers, I use test numbers that the card processors have that will pass validity tests but fail if used, or old routing and account numbers from "cash this check and be ripped off for $29.95/mo until we get caught" mail scams. For email, I reply from throw-away addresses at Hotmail, Yahoo and AOL that I close once they start getting spammed (bonus points for setting "Reply-to" to an address some spammer embedded in an email where you should answer them). Using names that, when spoken aloud, sound like profanity or racial slurs is really fun. It won't stop the tide of turds but polluting their bounty with worthless data (that just might raise some red flags and get them caught), is oh-so-satisfying. -- "Dance like the photo isn't being tagged; love like you've never been unfriended; and tweet like nobody is following." |
