 | Plans for NAS features in Actiontec MI424WR FIOS N Router? It was mentioned in the REV. I thread that the router has two USB ports. Both currently providing just power, with a future firmware release supporting disk storage support (NAS?).
This would make sense since there are Linksys and Netgear routers that already have this feature.
Anybody know how far into the future we have to wait for this feature from Actiontec/Verizon?
What exactly would be supported? FTP? SMB? FAT? NTFS? etc. |

 | Dont expect it being implemented anytime soon or ever. Previous AT had usb but it was never written in the firmware for use and same thing goes with the stb. |

I agree with your prediction of expectation on the AT, but it appears it's in the firmware. Just not turned on. And the STB is opaque AFAIK. |
