Natick, MA | [HD] Better audio on XBOX EPIX app than on Verizon EPIX OnDemand I got a month of free XBOX Live Gold so I decided to install some of the Verizon related apps and fool around with them a bit. Lo and behold, the EPIX 360 app offers full 5.1 DD 640k audio (with upscaled 1080p video) while on cable TV the best you get is 2.0 DD 192k audio on everything on Epix HD OnDemand.
So essentially what the 360 is offering is superior to what we're getting on cable! Don't ask me why, but there it is. |
