| [Modem] Question on 2wire gateway Hi There
Have the 2wire Gateway, and a ton of devices that use the internet off and on, thinking might have better performance with the 2wire if i use that, than my WGR614V10 Router
Devices on usually
1 Windows 7 Desktop-wired
1 Vista laptop-wireless G
1 Vista Desktop-wireless G
3 Directv receivers-wired
Windows 7 Phone-wireless G
Ipod touch-wireless G
and One Intel Atom Family PC-wireless G
Is the 2wire gateway adequate for gaming with?
should i change the SSID from Default 2wire one?
Used it for a while years ago from 2007-2009, then power cord died, but got a new one recently, so thinking of using it again.

Using Motorola 2210 modem right now and WGR614v10, and experiencing a ton of internet lag while online gaming, specicficially Secondlife, other games don't lag too badly
I can try to get line stats if needed tomorrow if i do hookup the 2wire again, easier to get line stats with that too |
