 | [Southwest] So. Cal ~20-25 devices connected to network So researching doing a large home network and I will be looking to connect roughly 20-25 devices (not including the 7 STB's in the home). I will be using different routers to handle being AP's and will disable the wireless in the Westell 9100. My concern is the Westell handling the routing for 20-25 devices. Has anyone had any experience with this many devices on the network?

The Westells also have a large NAT table, so it should be fine. -- University of Southern California - Fight On! |

 | reply to rodvillegas That is part of the concern. 3 of the devices are Xbox 360's and 3 of them are computers that kids game on. |

The 9100EM is capable of handling that many devices plus more and as always it's all about how they are used. 20 devices all running torrents is going to be different than 20 devices that surf the web and check email. |

 | reply to rodvillegas So currently there are times when we have to kick users off and reset the router to get web pages to pull up. I am going to contact Verizon to see if I can get a revision "I" of the router to make sure I have the latest one. |

Changing the router likely won't change anything, I have never once seen the Westell run out of resources for NAT. |
