Bright House Now Has A Direct Forum

We are happy to announce a new Direct Forum!

»Bright House Networks Direct is a new suppport option for members.

We will continue to host the public Bright House forum and we encourage you to continue to post here - hopefully it will be the first stop on our site for you if you need to seek advice on Bright House, see other customer experiences, share your own experiences and check out the faqs.

The Bright House Direct Forum is NOT meant to replace this forum but to add an additional layer of support for our members for specific issues related to requesting one on one tech support.

This Bright House Direct Forum is a PRIVATE area for member-to-tech communication. BBR members with full read and post access may use the forum. ONLY approved Bright House techs are allowed access to this forum and will work to solve customer issues to the best of their ability.

NOTE: You may post 24 hours 7 days a week. Mon-Fri - 8:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m. Sat-Sun & Holidays – Same day no hour max.

»Posting Rules - is a good start so you know the information needed to start a topic.

How would this be different from here in this forum? Which one 'should' one use. Wouldn't want to duplicate it and have Gary answer in both forums?

It's your choice...

Those who feel uncomfortable working in a public setting will find direct support ideal. Also where there is a likelyhood of needing a tech or discussing account specific things such as billing direct support is a better place for that because each post remains private and can only be accessed by the original poster and our staff.

The best way to think about it:

If you want to discuss something - it's the public forum. If you want help for a specific service issue - where you want diagnostics done - that would be appropriate for the private forum.

Direct Forum replaces communication by IM - you have a clear record of the conversation that takes place and this benefits both the member and the company. We strongly discourage the use of IM's to exchange private information - the secure direct forum is a better option for members seeking one on one assistance with their service issues.
