In case some of you missed it, Thunderbird is now up to version 10.0.
You can download it from here »www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all.html
You should also be able to update it via the internal updated as well.

 | reply to plencnerb Yeah, they're in the same Rapid Release program (for recovering procrastinators). But does Tb10 offer any actual new and useful features compared to, say, Tb9? I was using Tb5; now I'm using Tb9. I'm more interested in stability than keeping up with the Mozillas. It's possible I might not "upgrade" to a newer Thunderbird until the Thunderbutton or some other major new feature is implemented. Being great at sending and receiving messages is enough for me, regardless of the version. Yeah, I'll download it and look at it--just as with Firefox [though with less expectation of useful change, which is pretty low anyway given the nature of Rapid Release].
Thanks, BTW. -- "Sorry for not responding to your post, but either I haven't seen it yet, or what you said was so devoid of substance that I found it utterly uninteresting." |

It also moves faster and feels more stable then 9 and 10 for me. I am running early bird 11 and will move to 11 beta as soon as they put it up. As far as releases go, 11 I think will be the best of the lot from 9-13. I am thinking this will also be the case for the the Firefox releases. I like 11. |
