[Internet] Bell Modem security issue

Has anybody else noticed that there is a major problem with the information being presented in the Bell 2Wire modems - software version 5.29.133.27?

It refreshes the information presented there slowly and inaccurately.

This could lead to long delays before being able to detect network intrusion.

I would suggest if you're relying on the Bell-supplied modem for Security detection, you've got bigger issues.

I am not relying on Bell for anything. My simple point is that there is a vulnerability in their software.

If the information is not correct on their modems then one can not even begin to administer their home networks properly.

Surely I can not be the only one that notices this?

Bell users are generally not very technically inclined, as long as things work they don't venture into the web interface of their modems, etc...

So yeah, you could be the only one.
