[Installer] Firefox and Hughes Registration server

I'm used to see this screen while trying to connect to the registration server. On my XP laptop I just click "Add Exception..." and then it goes through.
But on my new Win7Pro machine I can click "Add Exception..." and nothing happens and I'm stuck there. I disabled all FF Add-ons and also turned off AVG and still no luck.
Any ideas? Thanks

I went through this and I wish I could remember what I did. It almost seems like I left that open after clicking 'add exception' and opened a new tab, and started the registration process over again. I was actually on the phone with Hughesnet when I was doing it, and they couldn't help me. It did the same thing in IE.

it depends on the version of firefox.....newer versions are a pain and wont let you add the exception. uninstall and roll back to an eralier version.

i have win7-64bit, can register 7x00's with firefox 3.6.23. CANNOT register 9x00's at all. no matter what it do or try, the header issue (see fsb: FSB_110830_01A) still persists, even though ive cleaned up the regisrty. same issue with ie, chrome and opera.

i also have win7-32bit running firefox 3.6.23 that CAN register both ka and ku. same results with ie, chrome and opera, no problems.

so basically, 64 bit can register ku only, 32 bit can do either. what exactly the issue is.....no clue.

Just for the fun of it: I tried to re-register my modem with FF. Same thing again and also open a new tab did not work. Had to switch to IE to get through, after "allowing the content to be displayed" twice and of course start the registration twice.

Thanks for the replies. Yes my new OP is Win7-64bit and FF is 9.0.1. I just wondering where to start to find a solution: Win7-64bit, Firefox 9+ or Hughes? This all was for curiosity and I'm happy to have my good old Panasonic Toughbook with XP-32bit.
Thanks again and hopefully somebody else will show up here with a solution or a hint.

Since it seems to be a FF only error...try opening the FF options up and looking in the Security tab and unchecking some security options or adding a exception in manually for a certain site????
