 | Custom QoS on Q1000 modem I have setup an OBi110 ATA behind my Q1000 modem. OBi110 will allow me to connect to the Google Voice. Though I have a solid 20/5 speed still, the voice sometimes is stuttered. On internet search, I found that this might be solved by setting up QoS. I would like to get help from the Gurus to setup QoS on Q1000 to give preference to the VoIP. Since there are only Centurylink VoIP options, I guess I need to do this manually. However, I have no idea how to choose "DSCP Classification" option. Please advice. Thanks. |

I didn't see any setting instructions for adjusting the QoS. Do you have another Router connected to your Q1000, or are you using it for Router functions also? Hopefully someone with more knowledge than I will respond and give you some help. What is you setup? Is the modem bridged, or being used as a router? Do you have another router connected to the modem? Have you updated the Obi110 to the latest firmware?

 | Thanks for the replies. I don't use any router - Q1000 powers everything. It has a optional QoS settings. Yes, OBi110 was updated to the latest firmware. I do not have any problem with internet - the 20/5 speed is solid. I also have voyage ATA connected to Q1000 - where the voice is without issues. |
