That is the way they have always done it. Rather than selecting the participants like a scientific political poll, they let people vote like american idol or a bill oreilly poll for entertainment purposes.
If CV were smart, they would recruit testers on lightly-used nodes - maybe that is why they emailed you...or maybe not.

| Likely because most people don't even know about the program. Jaa- I don't think my node qualifies as 'lightly used', given my location in the heart of a heavily-saturated, heavily populated OOL city.

We already went through this with you the last time, and documentation was provided, which you seemed to ignore, that showed they excluded many of the volunteers from the final selection of testers.

| Yes, they choose which volunteers to take, exacerbating the problem.
Can you imagine a political poll where they ask for volunteers, and then the polster decides whom to include? None do that, because nobody would pay them for it - because it would be worthless.
