 | New Hyundai Sonata Goes Over 900 Miles Per Tank Full How much is 1,400 kilometers? About 900 miles? This is what I just saw on TV, Hyundai annoucing their new hybrid Sonata with some battery technology that they claim is "revolutionary".
I hope is not another ridiculously expensive hybrid that nobody wants to buy because it defeats the purpose of saving money on gas. |

IMO, what these guys need to do is put in an engine just large enough to power the alternator to charge the batteries. 350-500 CC's would probably be enough.
Then, you'll see some kick-ass mileage! |

 | reply to thegeek I stopped discriminating bad-reputation vehicles ever since I bought a GMC Sonoma pick-up and it turned out to be the most reliable workhorse I ever owned, leaving the Nissan and other japanese trucks looking like wimps. I owned them and they all made me spend money except the Sonoma. I also drove a Kia Cerato and it had the same handling as a Honda Accord. |

Same goes for modern Kia vehicles. They're finally starting to make their own designs, and performance and reliability are way up. |

| reply to Xstar_Lumini WGAF about how many MPG? It's not like all it uses is gas, it still needs electricity to recharge. Electricity isn't free. What matters ultimately is the cost/mile driven including amortization. Hope it's really low, because it's a Hyundai to start with... |

The posting implied that was now YOUR opinion after speaking with your two friends, which you later recant after I and others pointed you to some facts |
