[iPhone] sms colors

I'm only curious, but with most people I text, the boxes are green, but with some people it is blue. Why is that? i have an iPhone4 non-S

Blue = iMessage. The messages are sent using Apple's messaging service as data over the internet. Doesn't count as a "SMS Message"

Green = Text/SMS Message. Counts against your provider's Messaging plan. Sent using normal SMS via your carrier.

If the person your texting also has an iPhone/iPod/iPad running iOS 5, it should automatically switch to iMessage.
