Smokeping problem?

Since shortly after 2 a.m. Eastern time this morning (February 1), the report from a smokeping test I'm running has shown total absence of the connection from NY although the other two (CA1 and KS) continue normally. Is there a problem at the NY end, or has some intermediate router stopped the action?

Also, is anything supposed to happen when I click the "extend" link on the main smokeping page to make this test run for a longer time than I originally requested? I would expect it to ask me "for how long?" or something similar, but the page does not change and nothing pops up. I'm using FireFox 9.0.1 as distributed via Ubuntu's automatic updates...

'Extend' is designed (iirc) to extend for another 24 hours within the last 24 hours of the smokeping. If you do a full re-smoke within a certain time of the end, the monitor will also continue.

It does look like the NY test fell asleep sometime Wednesday morning. Is that what you see? I'll ask someone to wake the hamsters involved.

Thanks! They woke up and started running again at 4 a.m. Eastern today. Maybe they got a wakeup call from Puxatawney Phil.

I'm still getting nothing on NY.
(edit: NY now appears to be working.)

Rumor has it that the Phil took the hamsters out ... now the hamsters are lobbying for their own "special" day ... it ain't pretty in the server room.

The hamsters appear to have gone to sleep again a few hours ago. Better increase their coffee ration...

Okay... I'm seeing it now after restarting my browser. Sorry for the false alarm.
