| [OOL] Anyone else get a pari of e mails from Optimm about your a Did anyone get a pair of e mails from optimum about your account? The first e mail I got was an e mail saying that to protect the security of my account, I am being notified that a change has been made to my account such as a change to my password, a change to my security challenge question or an optimum ID was created or deleted. The e mail then goes on to say that if I did not any changes to contact them. I then received a second e mail that reads as follows
On January 31, 2012, we experienced a data systems issue during routine maintenance. As a result, we sent an e-mail in error to you with the subject line "Important Information About Your Optimum Account."
The e-mail was automatically generated and explained that a change was recently made on one of your online accounts. The change could have been for a password update, security challenge question or an Optimum ID was created or deleted.
We have confirmed that no change was made on your account and this e-mail was generated in error.
We are taking steps to avoid this situation in the future and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
