Re: 64 bit client Well I'm using about 45 addons with various plugins for them and the only issue I've had so far is the addons becoming more bloated than when I was running the 32bit client. No disconnects or stalls so far, maybe I'm just lucky.
Oh I do want to note that I use alpha updates as soon as they become available for all of my addons. So I may have gotten some bugfixes that haven't made it to release yet. -- Change the scheme, alter the mood! Electrify the boys and girls if you'd be so kind. |

| reply to Immer A quick read through »www.tomshardware.com/forum/29308···t-though I found that only the tv's that say 3D ready should be able to take in 120hz that is needed for 3D (which is a waste of money imo to get improved frame rate). The article is a couple of years old now, so things may have changed, but I sincerely doubt it. -- Change the scheme, alter the mood! Electrify the boys and girls if you'd be so kind. |

 | reply to Mr Fel In regards to the disconnects, I have seen a lot more disconnects that seem to be zone related since the 4.3.2 patch. I am using the 64bit and a few addons. However we have a guildie that runs no (maybe one) addon and is currently not running the 64bit client. He has been repeatedly disconnected in quest hub areas Twilight Highlands.
My feeling is the disconnects are more 4.3.2 patch related. Also they seem to occur more in certain zones rather than in dungeons/raids. -- Tiermordius on Nathrezim Server (US) Main Tank for Pride and Ego |

 | reply to Redawg81 I installed the 64 bit client within my wow directory, when loading the client and putting my password in its coming up with an error, saying I've put my password in incorrect....
Is there something I'm doing wrong? (And yes it is the right password, before you ask )
Thanks |

Thanks Did you restart your computer? Did you make sure the power cord was plugged in? Have you submitted a Trouble Ticket to your Information Assuarance Officer? -- I'm not loafing. I work so fast I'm always finished. If idiots could fly, this would be an airport. |

| reply to Redawg81 One issue I keep running into with the 64 bit client is that it doesn't always fire up the game when I hit "play" on the downloader. I double click the icon, it tells me my client is up to date... I hit "play"... and nothing. Have to repeat until the game actually fires up to the logon screen. |

I double click the icon, it tells me my client is up to date... I hit "play"... and nothing. Have to repeat until the game actually fires up to the logon screen. I actually did have this issue last night. I hit the launcher nothing came up. Opened up the Task Manager and launcher.exe was running....ended the process. Hit the launcher button again. Launcher came up and pressed the PLAY button...nothing. Opened Task Manager....wow.exe was running...hmmm Closed it. Tried again, and again, and again, and again. Restarted computer. Lost interest in trying to play for the night. Played MW3.
The night before that, I logged into my Orc Rogue in Orgrimmar. Something seemed wierd. I was able to chat in guild and Trade but couldn't do any emotes...hmmmmm. Saw everyone around me moving around like normal and stuff. I went to mount up and....nothing. I was like WTF is happening!!! (I knew I had to Alt F4) and restart to usually fix the problem) My 7 yr old son came into my office and realized I was playing on my "ninja." I asked him if he thought I could jump over Hellscream's throne room building in the Valley of Strength. He told me no way but I could probably jump up the walls or something like a ninja. Well, I got a running start (for effect) and JUMPED! Apparently the server registered I had mounted up but there was no mount showing so I leaped over the building with a swim animation and continued to fly around Org showing my son that my ninja rogue was like a character from Dragonball Z. He was amazed and wanted his lvl 15 Belf mage named Supersayin could do that. lol True story -- I'm not loafing. I work so fast I'm always finished. If idiots could fly, this would be an airport. |

This happens to me as well, however, slightly different. I don't have to re-open the launcher. In my case, there is about a 10-second delay between hitting PLAY on the launcher and the game actually opening
