Maybe your line is occasionally hit with excessive noise, and the sync rate is being decreased to compensate and maintain a stable connection. Then the sync rate remains at that level until you restart the modem, even though the conditions that caused the rates to lower in the first place are long gone.
I believe Telus VDSL has the capability to dynamically adjust the profile according to line conditions, maybe Bell has a similar thing.
Could also be a problem with the modem. If the above is not true. |
