 | just wanted to say thanks Teksavvy Umong all the posts of people complaining about the new prices, I just wanted to leave one saying thanks
I called today to get myself changed from Unlimited to 300M service, not only was the phone answered quickly (maybe a couple minutes at most between dialing, and having a human on the line) but I was assured my service was already moved during the pricing change over from the Unlimited/5M to the 300/6M which means even if I hadn't called, my bill would of went down instead of what most companies would of done and put me on the new higher priced one.
That was a feel good moment today and made me glad to be a teksavvy customer. |

| I think you got lied to... Your service shouldn't have changed from 5M/Unlimited to 6M/300GB automatically.... It would be 6M/Unlimited wouldn't it? Theoretically, it's just a speed bump.
Don't quote me on this though. I'm nowhere near as "Teksavvy" as the others that post on DSLR. |

 | reply to BlackDove Me too, at least with the small increase that you're just passing on to the customer, you are trying to add value.... I get a small speed boost, and the opportunity to download 6 hrs a day without it affecting my CAP..
My hats off to Teksavvy for taking a negative situation (imposed by CRTC, bell) and giving their customers something more !

 | reply to BlackDove Probably a good short term move because we have to see how this FBI crap plays out. I know the world can't sue America or the FBI but i'm sure in due time the rest of the world will get even with the FBI and Andrew Cuomo. |

 | reply to BlackDove well... as an update to this, I take back my thanks....
First I was NOT moved to the tier I was told I was by the CS rep, I just checked my CC and saw I was billed $58.
And to top it off, there has been no invoice emailed to me so if I wasn't watching the CC I wouldn't of known. |

1 edit | reply to BlackDove Teksavvy may not be perfect, but I am thankful for the package I use -- the 300 [gigabyte] cap with unlimited off peak on DSL. At least Teksavvy gives us all a great option against the low caps and high costs of Bhell and Robbers. I'm also thankfully that Teksavvy fought against UBB, DPI and throttling from Bhell etc. So kudos. Yup, bummer what's going on now, but to an extent, it's beyond their control in terms of the prices going up (no thanks to the CRTC etc) |
