| [Speed] Albuquerque Speed Loss in 87104 area Since about 1:30pm yesterday I have lost most of my download speed. I have the Blast home service which is supposed to give around 16Mbps down and about 4Mbps up. I recently installed a new Motorola Surfboard SBG6580 which has DOCSIS 3.0. Since yesterday my down speed has been about 1.5Mbps and 4.5Mbps up with a ping in the range of 65-125 which is normal for me. The up speed is also normal. It is only the down speed that is effected. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue? I had a technician at my house about 15 minutes ago and he could find no connection problems. Is there an upgrade happening that is effecting speeds? I could get no answers on the phone and as I said the tech found no problems at my house. |

I am also in ABQ and I have noticed that they took down the channel bonding that they had up. I was also on upstream channel binding aswell, but that is gone now too. Who knows what they are doing in ABQ, my guess .. nothing. They still have a lot of head end equipment they have to upgrade before we can be D3. |

| That's what I was wondering.
Other areas that lost bonding , there were many reports of similar very low downloads, with normal or better uploads.
My though is they are temporarily putting more than normal # of users on as few channels as possible so they can balance/clean the rest for bonding.
In a few days/weeks you should have full bonded speeds back, more stable for everyone.

Since my last post the download speed has improved but now the upload speed is under 1Mbps. I just ran a ping test and it showed 60% packet loss.
