WutanGPremium join:2001-12-12 Seaford, DE | reply to Fiftycals I played it a few times to give it a whirl. Seems like a decent game but just has a clunky feel to it. Especially the driving vehicles part. I couldn't get past that and haven't tried it since. It does look like it could be a fun game if the mechanics were bit more refined, imo. -- Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packin' right here, all right. We got 4:11 Positrac outback, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo-jet 390 horsepower. We're talkin' some funkin' muscle. -Wooderson |

I had always been a Grand Theft Auto fan, so I was looking for something similar, but was very disappointed.
So many exploits when it first came out, the only jobs I could complete were the easiest ones.
I also learned that I suck at shooter games. Everything involved your shooter, and people spent more time shooting, than completing actual jobs.
Quit after a month. When I heard the company went bankrupt, I was not surprised.
Good to see someone bought them out and made it f2p. I may login one day just to see if anything is different, though I have my doubts. |

 | I was watching this game in Dev and never realized it came out or that it died.
Will have to check it out now that its F2p. -- I am whatever you say I am. If I wasn't than why would I say I am. |

 | reply to Fiftycals I heard it has a really bad case of 'pay-to-win' and without sinking some money into it you will suffer.
Just what I heard, think it was an 'official ' review on meta critic -- DSLR's #3 Diablo 1 Fan. |

 | reply to f0rtys3ven I've put about 4 hours into it so far and it's given me decent entertainment. I like the whole cops and robbers thing and the graphics are nice. I can't complain considering it's F2P. I haven't really noticed any glitches or people exploiting them. I did notice when you run it, it runs on Punkbuster now, not sure if it did when it was first released. All in all, a fun title to install if you like shooters and the whole GTA theme. |

Rogue WolfAte Your Homework, And Framed The Dog join:2003-08-12 Troy, NY | reply to Fiftycals I've been playing APB off and on since before its original release. I've found that it's a pretty polarizing game- some people love it, some hate it, but there's seldom any middle ground. The good thing is that it's free and you don't have to pay a dime to get at least the basic experience (some customization, most weapons, limited cash and standing gains).
There's plenty of videos on YouTube showing how the game works as well. Just ensure that it's APB: Reloaded (should be any video uploaded since about mid-2011), as the game has changed significantly since its first iteration. -- Justin Timberlake brought sexy back. I'm putting it away again.
