Why does it matter? Its already beyond what it's worth, even from bhell themselves.

Cheers,

It's going up about 10% for me.

But look at the bright side, that's far less than when Rogers increased the price of sending a text message by 50% about 6 months ago!

Wait, technology gets more expensive over time?

Well the price changes finally forced me to evaluate my usage, and I ended up downgrading from 25mbit unlimited cable to the 25mbit 300gig cap, so I'm saving $5 or $6 before taxes every month.

down $5 ... was unlimited/5, now 300/6 ... unlimited just made no sense anymore with them auto "upgrading" you if your over cap... so i'll just pay for unlimited on the months I need it, and buy an extra 2 timmies the months I don't.

My 24/1 Cable went up $4, but I downgraded my DSL from unlimited to 300GB, so I saved $5 there.

I'll find on the next DSL invoice if they processed my change request correctly last month.

My 12/512 cable 300GB went up $3.39 there not enforcing the caps so the $45.15 month is still the cheapest for me for now. When that changes tho it's not no longer worth it for me to stay TSI customer.

24/1 Cable +$4/mo.

No big deal to me, considering how bad UBB could have been.

My TSI Extreme cable Pro 24/1 unlimited is UP $7.91

Old Rate: $54.95 + Ont.HST $7.14 = $62.09
New Rate: $61.95 + Ont.HST $8.05 = $70.00
---------------------------------------------------
$07.91 difference.

I eated cost of pk of cigs. M'kay. :D

*Awaits new Dupont POI update information since the announcements in the TSI blogs way back when. Whats been done since then, how much closer are we to capacity upgrades now. Has the robers team that was assigned to this project done anything else on this yet since then?

No, I cancelled the internet service. When I don't agree with how a company is managed, I move over to another when it's logically feasible. I loved TekRocky's honest openness, but this new TekSecrecy I don't care much for.

to
60/3 54,95$.

40$ off.

Edit: I'd like to thank everyone at teksavvy for helping me leave your company and go for a company that actually cares about their Quebec costumers.

Zacron & Gimli are both correct - It's already far beyond what it's worth.

My crappy DSL going from $31.95+$4.15=$36.10 to $34.99+$4.55=$39.54

a 9.53% increase.

Now I just wish I could get closer speeds to what I'm paying for.

Stuck on 3008/512 fastpath. Any higher profile would have to be interleave, as the 40+year old F2 line is as erratic as hell, and Bhell has absolutely no intention of replacing it.

I was originally happy with a company called "Internet Direct", until they were bought out by Look Communications. These folks were adamant on taking yearly $2 increases, and decreasing customer support. Jumped that dying ship in December 2007 to TSI.

Been happy with TSI, but I am very uneasy with all their reported problems over the last couple of years, and, to make matters worse, their deteriorating relations with Bell. I want to keep POTS and dump Bell, but switching to TSI, having to wait almost 6 months before I can start saving $6/month, and remain very uneasy with the Bell/TSI BS is something I don't want to really get into.

I'll also be damned if I will swallow any diagnostic charges for troubleshooting problems to what I know is external to my drop from the pole (new line from pole to demarc 2.5 years ago).
