As for the red tint... what type of TV is it (HD or SD), and what equipment are you using with it (DTA, SD receiver, HD receiver, SD-DVR, or HD-DVR, or none (clear QAM))? Try replacing the cabling going from the cable box to the TV. If you use Component, make sure all the cables are tightened (especially the red one). Try switching the video cable out for another one, and see if it does this when using DVD players or VCRs. There is still a possibility that your TV may have a problem. |

If it happens at the same time every day, I would say start paying attention to what might be happening in your house, or possibly what your neighbors might be doing around that time. There could be a device that's feeding noise back into the lines, and maybe a neighbor gets home right around 1pm and turns that device on and it creates the noise causing your issue. It's also possible that it's a hardware failure in either the digital receiver or the TV itself. If you have other devices hooked up to the TV when the red tint happens, try switching to another input on the TV. If it's still red, than it would be the TV. If not, it's either the box, or the previously mentioned noise issue.
The phone issue I think might be one of two things. First, possibly a bad modem. Second is maybe a short in the phone wiring causing the modem to reboot or not work properly. Do you ever see every light on the modem start flashing at the same time? That would be a short in the phone wiring in the house.
For both of these issues, I would still recommend having a technician come out and investigate them, as they may find something that I wouldn't be able to see from here. -- Dan Della Terza WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone Network Operations Center |

You probably have an Integrated Modem, with Internet and Phone. Your Phone problems are probably caused by a bad Modem or very weak signal. Like WOW_Dan said, you need a good Tech to check the Modem and Signal Levels. |
