liaden join:2011-12-15 Toronto, ON | Thanks for all the help! I followed RickStep's instructions, but for some reason nothing is detected when I try browsing for the printer. I'm using Windows 7, and turned on network discovery and file sharing/printing while trying to install... but no luck. Trying to add a new TCP/IP port doesn't seem to work. No IP address seems to be assigned to the printer and using the Sagemcom's IP address doesn't work.
In response to why I did not try bridge mode, the tomato USB router is wireless G, and thus not as good at handling 25/7 speeds... Thought it'd be simpler to just use one device (if it worked). If you hard reset the Sagemcom, to put it in to bridge mode can you change it back if you don't like it?
I know, I gotta get a better router some day. But other than the printer, the Sagemcom's actually been working well for me. |
