| reply to KevinT With all the drama and changes around pricing it appears, at least here, that little is being done to improve the network connections. Upgrades cost money and letting employees go is a clear sign of problems on the horizon. I would know as my employer just went through layoffs in December and I can see how this has on a downward spiral.
I did a speedtest last night at 9PM and my cable 24Mbps down only showed 8Mbps.... |

 | Yea, I'm getting throttled like a bitch over here in Windsor(6/M DSL). Been like this for 2 weeks, called many times, no one seems to know wtf is going on. Speedtest don't mean shit, Look as the graph, are you spiking and dropping? Getting fucking tired of this. |

 | said by n0ne :Yea, I'm getting throttled like a bitch over here Teksavvy doesn't throttle. Talk to the CRTC (good luck with that since Harper just appointed a corporate stooge) |

 | DSL? -->Bell is throttling ALL customers, both retail and wholesale (like TSI). I have the same issue.
(in a side note, Rogers has been told (by CRTC no less) to stop.) They say they will stop throttling ("the P.C. word is shaping") in March. Bet that means March 31!!

Bell is supposed to stop as well. Time will tell. |
