Internet Speeds in Findlay, Oh/ Hancock County

Anyone in Findlay or one of the Surrounding small towns in Hancock County Served by Time Warner getting crappy speeds lately? Im subscribed to Earthlink 15/768 Service over the past couple of weeks the average throughput has gone to crap.

Speedtests on TW own webpage and Speedtest.net don't go much above 1 or 2 Mbps downstream.

There has been a 3rd Party Contractor (for whom I don't know) that has recently put in a new Fiber line(with access covers) along CR313 from Findlay then turns down Twp Rd 36 (going west). Don't know if that is TWC or not.

I wonder if Findlay is having capacity issues with Wideband or something?

.
Last weekend i got their 30/5 extreme and so far all is good. I check throughput at least twice a day. I VPN into my home setup and have not seen any abnormality.
6 Month before that i had regular 15/1 without any glitches.

I'm just floored by your ping time to that test server. I never see below 45ms to that server. and the Toledo server is crap.. one of these days I plan on making the jump to extreme but for now I'll live with it.

Extremely hit or miss here. Sometimes I have awesome speeds at night, other times they are terrible. I thought it was just me, but I'm glad others are having problems too. Calling into support does absolutely nothing.

Looks like maybe they got things resolved:

Which is what I should be seeing on a regular basis.

Looks like my 6 mo promo period for Earthlink has ended, and there isn't much of price difference between 30Mb Wide and my 15 Mb. I might switch. We watch a lot of Netflix/youtube around here. The extra bandwidth would definitely come in handy.
