Extra line... possible?

Hi all,

I live in an apartment complex, and installed a fax machine for my business a couple months back... but business has picked up, and the sheer volume of faxes coming through are becoming somewhat redonkulous.

Is it generally possible to use the 2nd pair to run another line? I should also mention I also have DSL service on that line as well?

Yup, that's exactly what the 2nd pair is for. Since you have DSL, you'll need to convert it from dry loop to wet loop, which likely means downtime for you, unfortunately.

Other alternatives are online fax services, that would email you a PDF of each incoming fax. No new lines and no fax machine required that way, just an email client and PDF reader.

I'm worried my land owner might have went el cheapo and only INSTALLED 1 pair lol, is that common?

Also will another voice line cause more interference? I'm already redline as it is
